Steel Detailing Solutions, LLC. was established in 2007 in attempt to address the shortage of steel detailing firms that offers both Structural Steel and Misc. Metals Detailing Services. We have performed work on project in over 20 states and have experience with Structural Steel and Misc. Metals project varying in scope from small renovations to large multi-phase projects.
Steel Detailing Solutions, LLC. offers both Misc. Metals and Structural Steel Detailing Services, as well as full service steel estimating and checking capabilities. Steel Detailing Solutions, LLC. combines a unique blend of business education, estimating experience, and project management expertise in our approach to detailing a project. We strive to be more than a drafting service. Our aim is to be a valued business partner that collaborates with our clients. What that translates to is we can often identify areas that might be of concern, offer risk management advise, offer value engineering alternatives, provide RFI generation, document control, and provide a finished product that can be handled in the shop and field with increased efficiency over other drafting firms that have little or no training in business risk management, conceptual estimating and/or project management.
We use Tekla Structures for our misc. metals and structural steel detailing. This allows us to produce BOM, Kiss Files, NC1 and DSTV Files, and various additional file outputs.
